CATERINGCOOKING
When staying in our yurts, you will need to bring cooking equipment - such as a camping stove, pans, cups, cutlery etc. Please do not bring disposable BBQs. FOOD You will need to make your own catering arrangements. Local takeaway food delivery menus are available. Please ask the accommodation staff. PIZZA OVEN There is a wood fired pizza oven for campers to use at a cost of £10, to book it - call 01730 823549. CAFE Our Cafe serves delicious breakfast from 8.30am and vegetarian and vegan lunches and cakes until 4pm from Wed to Sun. Breakfast can be booked on 01730 823755. FACILITIESSHOWERS Our off grid campsite shower and washing up facilities are available between April and October. They include a solar shower block and a washing up area in our straw bale and wooden building. COMPOST TOILETS 3 compost toilets are available all year. WATER The campsite has its own drinking water tap, available all year. WOODBURNERS & FIREWOOD As part of your yurt booking you have a wood burner for heat in your yurt. We provide a load of logs, firelighters and kindling which is replaced each day for any additional nights during your stay. ELECTRICITY We are fully "Off Grid" on the campsite and there is no electricity or lighting in our yurts. Please bring a camping light or torch. There are no facilities to charge phones onsite. BEDDING Sheets, pillows and duvets are provided in all our yurts. TOWELS Please bring your own towels when you stay in our yurts. |
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONSGIFT SHOP We have a gift shop open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. DOGS £2 Dogs are welcome in our grounds, but must be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs are allowed in our Olive Yurt and Mini Yurt, but are not allowed in the Rose Yurt. BICYCLE STORAGE If you want to arrive by bike then please ask us for bike storage. Unfortunatly we do not allow bikes or scooters to be taken indoors in any of our accommodation. A penalty fee will be charged if you do take bikes indoors. This is usually £50 per bike. BBQs Please do not bring disposable BBQs.
