REVIEW * * * * * "We've been coming here now for a couple of years with a group of University students. The centre looks after us really well and the staff here are great. Rooms in the hostel and B&B are spacious and clean. There are also some spaces for socialising and other activities. The grounds are beautiful and the centre also have some great activities on offer - particularly the tree climbing, which students very much enjoyed. The farm and site tours led by Will and Christine are also very informative. Vegan food at the beech café is also delicious. Thoroughly recommend this place." Philip |
REVIEW * * * * * "We had booked a camping pitch at the Sustainability Centre, but when we finally arrived after many long hours of hiking through pathways of water and mud and a 5 hour rain storm, we were not in good shape. Sarah kindly updated our accommodation to the hostel, where hot showers and warm dry shelter made us feel human again. Thanks to Dave for putting our clothes through the washing machine and looking after us. Next morning after a great breakfast at the on-site café, we were kindly given a lift to the nearby village. Many thanks to all! We will return in better weather!" David |
